Artist's Description
This painting came out of worship and like all of my artwork or photography or poetry, I want to somehow stir in you the desire to see and experience and connect you with the One who will never leave you, the One who knows you better than you know yourself, and hears even your inmost thoughts. One of the ways to do that connecting is through music and dance. Relax and enjoy His Presence, dance, sing, go for a walk, bake a cake. It's all worship when done along with Him.
About Amy Green
A self-taught artist who was born and raised in Northern Michigan, she now resides in Knoxville, Tennessee. Living amid mountains and rivers allows her easy access to hike, bike, and kayak, which are also favorite pastimes. Nature and spiritual elements are frequent elements in her work and there is typically a story that accompanies each piece in the process of its completion. Movement, light and color are all constantly displayed with brilliance as a common theme. She believes that a painting is like life, a journey and layered with meaning and therefor, many thin, near transparent layers are a well used technique.
